After suffering an ankle injury while on international duty with Italy, center-back Giorgio Chiellini returned to the starting XI against Sassuolo. Massimiliano Allegri has started Daniele Rugani next to Chiellini in place of the departed Leonardo Bonucci this season.

Fiorentina got off to a bad start under new manager Stefano Pioli, losing their first two games of the season. Last week, Fiorentina defeated Bologna 2-1, for their second straight win. Juventus’ Dybala leads Serie A with eight goals this season, the same amount Fiorentina has scored. The Florence club have had eight different goal scorers this season. Defensively, Fiorentina have to slow down Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain, who has two goals.
