3. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboy’s 42-17 loss against the Broncos was nothing short of embarrassing. America’s team took a beating led by Trevor Siemian and C.J. Anderson. Now with an extra day of rest, the Cowboys play a Monday Night Football game they must win.

Jerry’s team has the perfect bounce-back game on Monday night. Without David Johnson, the life has been sucked out of the Cardinals. They look stagnant on the offensive side of the ball and held on to dear life to beat an Andrew Luck-less Colts in overtime. The defense looks promising on paper, but they haven’t shown that through the first two weeks of the season.

I still believe the Cowboys are one of the better teams in the NFC, they just ran into a hot team in the Broncos. With Ezekiel Elliott and the best offensive line in the NFL, there is still a lot to be confident about. Monday night isn’t a game the Cowboys should just win, they need to win it convincingly. Pundits criticized them for quitting late in the game against the Broncos. Coming out and dominating the Cardinals on prime time puts the them back on track.

With how poorly the Giants are playing early on, the Cowboys have a shot at winning the NFC East. Their schedule only gets tougher from here, but a win on Sunday puts them at 2-1 as they head home to play another winnable game against the Rams in Week 4.
