We’re getting ready to see the Washington Redskins host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday night at FedExField. Which team comes out on top?

When it comes to preseason Super Bowl predictions, the Oakland Raiders have been mentioned by more than one publication, website and/or prognosticator this year. When you look at the talent on Jacks Del Rio’s team, it’s hard to fight that feeling. But this club is in a division that has three of its four teams – excluding the Los Angeles Chargers – off to 2-0 starts this season.

The Silver and Black hits the road for the second time this year, And they will absolutely, positively have to square off with the Washington Redskins. This has all the makings of a high-scoring affair.

Odds

Line: Raiders (-2.5)
Over/Under: 54

In two games this season, the Raiders have totaled eight offensive touchdowns and a total of 71 points. That resulted in victories over the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets. The Redskins have allowed 50 points in their two-game split with the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams. Oakland is a 2.5-point favorite in this setting (thanks to SportsBook Review). But that over/under bears watching.

Oakland Raiders’ quarterback Derek Carr comes off a big 2016 and has picked up where he left off last season before suffering a broken leg in late December against the Indianapolis Colts (Week 16). He’s already hit on 75.0 percent of his passes, throwing for a combined 492 yards and five touchdowns without an interception. But the feeling here is that the Washington Redskins will find a way to keep the Silver and Black attack off the field just enough to post a home win.

Pick: Redskins 30, Raiders 27
