The Oakland Raiders have picked up where they left off last season when quarterback Derek Carr was on his feet. Now Jack Del Rio’s club hits the road for the second time in 2017 and should have their hands full with a Washington Redskins’ team that looked pretty efficient in last week’s 27-20 win over the Rams at Los Angeles.

The Silver and Black have had few problems putting points on the board in each of their first two games. Can Jay Gruden’s club keep pace in this prime time tilt?

These two franchises, which once met in Super Bowl XVIII in 1982, don’t meet all too often. But here’s something that somewhat interesting. In the six meetings between these clubs since ’92, the road team has prevailed in each instance. That includes a 24-14 win by the Redskins at Oakland in 2013 in the teams’ most recent encounter.

Odds

Line: Raiders (-2.5)
Over/Under: 54

This figures to be a close contest and the line shows that the Silver and Black are a slight favorite to win at FedEx Field, as explained by the consensus of SportsBook Review. Keep in mind that this is a Raiders’ squad that with Carr at the controls is 7-1 outright on the road since 2016. Meanwhile, that 54-point over/under is indeed intriguing.
