It’s hard to forecast how this Arizona Wildcats team will fare against Utah. While they dominated Northern Arizona and UTEP, they also lost at home in a defensive showdown against Houston. Their offense has been outstanding. They’ve scored more than 60 points in two of their three games to start the season. Arizona is averaging 47 points and 489 yards per game. Brandon Hawkins has been a fantastic leader for this offense. He can both pass and run the ball effectively. He’s thrown for 422 yards and four touchdowns on 66.7 percent passing. Also, he’s run for five touchdowns while averaging 83.7 yards on the ground per game. However, he’s far from the only good runner on this Arizona squad. The Wildcats use three running backs in their offense, who, in total, average 183 yards per game on top of Dawkins’s 83.7. Additionally, this offense holds on to the ball very well, having only turned it over three times in as a many contests. On the defensive side of the ball, Arizona has done a good job of stopping team’s from scoring, but have given up a lot of yards. Their opponents average just 19.7 points, but 387.7 yards per game. They do a good job of creating turnovers with seven on the season. If Arizona plays their best, they could upset Utah.
