West Ham and Tottenham match up in a London derby on Saturday at London Stadium. The match is quite important for both sides and each can make a statement coming away with points. The Hammers currently sit 17th in the Premier League table after losing their first three games of the season. Tottenham sit fifth just a point outside of the top four after a beatdown of Everton and Newcastle, and lackluster performances against Burnley and Chelsea. Both sides will feel that their peak form is much better than their place in the table, and a result in this London derby is key.

Tottenham have started the season a bit less aggressive than they have in years past. It’s unclear if Mauricio Pochettino is trying to pace his team for the long run a bit more, or if they just haven’t felt comfortable without Kyle Walker and Danny Rose.
The Hammers started off their season campaign with high expectations. Javier Hernandez was going to add a key attacking option, but they started off slow. However, with four points in their last two game they seem to be getting on track towards their season expectations of getting closer to a top six finish.
