The Florida State Seminoles face the NC State Wolfpack on Saturday, Sept. 23 in College Football Week 4, and here’s all the info you need to watch
It feels as if it’s been roughly an eternity since we’ve seen the Florida State Seminoles in action. They opened up the 2017 college football season with a huge loss to Alabama. Due to Hurricane Irma, however, they’ve not played in either of the past two weeks. Now they’re getting back at it, though, and will welcome the NC State Wolfpack to Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday in Week 4.
Unfortunately for the Noles, they’ll get back at it without Deondre Francois. The star quarterback was injured against Bama, and is out for the season. Now James Blackman makes his first start and offers a world of unknown. As such, the Florida State defense led by Derwin James and Co. will need to come up big.

As for NC State, they have plenty of talent as well. Quarterback Ryan Finley is a veteran with great poise. What’s more, Bradley Chubb on the defense is one of the best pass rushers in the country. Subsequently, there are some nice one-on-ones to be had.

There’s a good chance that the overall talent level of Florida State is too much for NC State. At the same time, though, this is a team with only one game under their belts and with a new quarterback. As suck, things could get kind of dicey in Tallahassee on Saturday afternoon.

Even as only their second game of the 2017 season, this could be a turning point for Florida State. If Blackman impresses, then perhaps they can make something of it still. However, if the opposite were to happen, it could be tough sledding for the home stretch.
