Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb makes a crazy circus catch vs. Baylor (Video)

Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver CeeDee Lamb somehow comes up with this unbelievable grab versus the Baylor Bears for a big Oklahoma first down.

In Big 12 football, it’s all about throwing the football as far you can. Defense may or may not be optional, but the passing game in Big 12 play is tremendous. The Oklahoma Sooners have a fantastic redshirt senior quarterback in Baker Mayfield. He definitely had some help on this big gain from wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb is able to juggle the deep pass from Mayfield and come out with it on this huge gain. Could Lamb be the next great receiver from Oklahoma? In the last two years, the Sooners have sent Sterling Shepard and Dede Westbrook to the pros. With more catches like this from Lamb, it doesn’t seem like Mayfield will be skipping a beat in the passing game.

This is the game that Mayfield really wanted to go off in. Baylor is 0-3, but was still talking smack to the best player the Big 12 has to offer in the pre-game warmup at McLane Stadium in Waco. He said he was about to spank them because he is their daddy, in his opinion.

With in-state rival Oklahoma State falling at home to the TCU Horned Frogs, Oklahoma is the running away favorite to win the Big 12. Let’s not overlook the 4-0 TCU team, but the Horned Frogs will have to play in Norman in several weeks. That game might decide the Big 12.

Oklahoma may have a few bumps in the road at some point. The Sooners do have a new head coach in Lincoln Riley, so that could happen. Then again, the Sooners did go into the Horseshoe and beat the Ohio State Buckeyes back in Week 2.

Oklahoma looks to be a total buzz saw in the Big 12, but a downtrodden Baylor program is trying its best to hang in this tough matchup at home in Week 4. Look for Oklahoma to take full control in the second half.
