This marks the beginning of the marquee matchups that determine spots in bowl games and the College Football Playoff. One of those will be Penn State vs. Iowa, a Big Ten matchup, that will take place at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, IA.
The Nittany Lions are led by the Trace McSorley-Saquon Barkley duo at quarterback and running back, respectively. They combined for over 1,000 yards of offense through three games, with Barkley looking like an early candidate for the 2017 Heisman Trophy (38 carries for 307 yards and three touchdowns).

For the Penn State team itself, they’ve looked dominant through three games. They shut out Akron and Georgia State by a combined 108 points. The other win came against Pittsburgh, 33-14. All three wins led to a No. 4 spot in the AP Poll, one that the team will look to keep a hold on, especially with tough teams like Alabama, Clemson and Oklahoma ahead in the ranking.
Iowa is also 3-0. Their most recent game was against North Texas, with a 31-14 win. The Hawkeyes rushed for 238 yards, while Ivory Kelly-Martin’s two touchdowns led the way.
