Squirrel runs for TD as Louisville crowd goes wild (Video)
We have a new contender for the Heisman Trophy and you’re not going to believe who it is.
This week’s slate of college football games didn’t look like it would provide a whole lot of drama and intrigue. However, that’s just when all the drama and intrigue usually takes place. This takes us to Louisville where we saw a breakout performance that completely stole the spotlight from reigning Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson.
I was so captivated by this performance and I think we have a new contender for the Heisman and Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay may need to reconsider who sits at the top of their NFL Draft big board.
You’ll never see a touchdown as impressive as what we saw in the video below. This wasn’t a former five-star recruit who had a lot of hype surrounding him since his junior prom. This was all about heart and desire.
Oh, you thought after all that lead up that I was writing about a human being and not a squirrel?! Well, misdirection is a big part of offensive playbooks so I thought it was apt for the situation. In all seriousness, this isn’t a serious story. This is all about having fun and enjoying a moment of pure unadulterated joy that only a squirrel with his or her sights set on the end zone can provide.

I don’t know about you, but that squirrel can play on my team any day.
Look out, Lamar Jackson, because Mr. Squirrel is here to steal the spotlight and be the Big Squirrel on Campus.
