Stoke face Chelsea at bet365 Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 23. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
After five games, Chelsea are in third place in the Premier League table, three points behind both Manchester clubs. Stoke have five points and sit 13th in the table after losing to Newcastle last week.
Antonio Conte’s side have rebounded well after going down two men and losing their season opener to Burnley. Chelsea won three straight before playing Arsenal to a 0-0 draw. Alvaro Morata has been great in his first season with the Blues. The Spanish striker has three goals and two assists in his first five games with the club. David Luiz will miss the game against Stoke after getting sent off against Arsenal. Conte opted to use Andreas Christensen after Luiz’s dismissal. Conte will likely pick Christensen or Antonio Rudiger to start in place of Luiz.

Stoke have been up and down to start the season. After losing to Everton, Stoke defeated Arsenal and drew with Manchester United and West Brom. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Xherdan Shaqiri have had strong starts to the season playing behind the striker in Mark Hughes’ 3-4-2-1 system. The Potters will depend on Choupo-Moting and Shaqiri to create against Chelsea as Hughes’ side attempts to steal points from another bigger club. Chelsea loanee Kurt Zouma has been getting good reviews for his play on the right side of the back three. Zouma will be tested against Chelsea’s strong attack and could make a statement to Conte if he performs well.
