No. 10: Georgia Bulldogs (4-0)

Ranking coming into Week 4: No. 11

The Georgia Bulldogs might be for real, folks. The Dawgs absolutely pummeled a hot Mississippi State bunch between the hedges on Saturday night. They’re easily the SEC East favorites right now and could become the SEC favorites outright down the line if this defense maintains their elite level of play with a healthy Nick Chubb in the backfield.

No. 9: TCU Horned Frogs (4-0)

Ranking coming into Week 4: No. 16

Yeah, TCU deserves a huge seven-spot jump this week. Kenny Hill and the gang looked like a legitimate Big 12 title contender with their victory in Stillwater over Oklahoma State and one of the nation’s best offenses led by Mason Rudolph. Big, big weekend for Gary Patterson’s guys.

No. 8: Wisconsin Badgers (3-0)

Ranking coming into Week 4: No. 9

The Badgers were off this week after a dominant win against BYU in Provo last week, but they’ll be a beneficiary of Oklahoma State’s loss to TCU on Saturday afternoon.

No. 7: Michigan Wolverines (4-0)

Ranking coming into Week 4: No. 8

Purdue was most certainly game for their big matchup with the Wolverines, but a dominant second half from the Michigan defense sparked a strong final 30 minutes from the road team. Michigan has plenty of work left to do this season, but they may have found their starting quarterback in the process with John O’Korn.

No. 6: Washington Huskies

Ranking coming into Week 4: No. 7

Not only will the Huskies move up a spot after a strong victory on the road in Boulder against Colorado late on Saturday night, they looked like the playoff contender many expected them to be at the start of the season. Myles Gaskin stole the show on the ground for Washington, who have another tricky road game next Saturday night in Corvallis against Oregon State.
