Mark Cuban thinks that people who believe sports and politics are separate should keep their eye on where money changes hands.

The NBA and NFL have both become quite politically active in the last year, and the reasons are pretty clear. President Donald Trump recently called out owners to get rid of players who don’t stand for the national anthem, and this has obviously caused quite an uproar.

He said Friday that NFL owners who see players “disrespecting the flag” should say “get that son of a b**** off the field right now, he’s fired.”

Almost all of the Pittsburgh Steelers stayed inside the locker room during the anthem today in response to that, and many NFL owners have spoken out against Trump’s divisive language.

You can be sure that the NBA will be getting involved as well, especially considering the recent news that the president won’t invite the Golden State Warriors to the White House this season.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has spoken up on this topic, and he, of course, had his eye on the money.

Cuban hasn’t ruled out a presidential run in 2020, and that would be an amazingly entertaining race. The fact that we could see two reality TV stars face off to become the leader of this country is a remarkable set of circumstances, but here we are. Cuban stars on “The Shark Tank” currently, and Trump was head of “The Apprentice” for quite a long time.
