Juventus and Olympiacos both lost their first Champions League games. Barcelona defeated Juventus 3-0, behind two Lionel Messi goals. Olympiacos’ furious comeback, with goals in the 89th and 90th minutes, was not enough to beat Porto, who won 3-2.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side have a perfect record in Serie A, picking up six wins to start the season as the Turin club look for their seventh straight championship. Paulo Dybala has been incredible, scoring 10 goals, while playing behind Gonzalo Higuain as a secondary striker. Defensively, Allegri is still trying to replace Leonardo Bonucci, who was sold to AC Milan. Daniele Rugani and Medhi Benatia have both started next to Giorgio Chiellini at center-back. Rugani started the season as the first-choice option but Benatia has seen an increase in playing time over the past few weeks.

Olympiacos have gotten off to a slow start in the Greek Super League, picking up eight points in five games. Takis Lemonis decided to rest several key starters in the last game, including Konstantinos Fortounis who leads Olympiacos with three goals this season. Fortounis and former Chelsea winger Marko Marin will be responsible for creating chances for the Athens club. Center-backs Björn Engels signed with the club over the summer and will be busy attempting to stop Higuain and Dybala.
