Christian Wilkins

Defensive Lineman, Clemson

The Chicago Bears have been tremendous at home this season, and actually look better than expected. They barely lost to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1, and after getting blown out on the road against Tampa Bay, they bounced back to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. It is incredible to think that had they beat Atlanta, they would be 2-1 with wins against the Falcons and Steelers.

In years where they are dominant, they have done so with a tremendous defense. With their first pick in April, they should look to bring in a dominant defensive lineman, and Christian Wilkins is just that. Wilkins may be one of the top-5 talents in this draft class, and would be perfect for a Bears team looking to get better and younger.

Wilkins has the ability to disrupt the game is so many ways, including against the run and the pass. He has a big body, and is able to not only clog up the middle against the rush, but get in the quarterbacks face when they try to get comfortable in the pocket. The Bears are going to be good, but for now, they look like they will finish in the cellar of a very strong NFC North division.
