It’s finally here, the day we’ve all been waiting for, the official release date of FIFA 18.

After one of the most anticipated waiting periods in the franchises history, FIFA 18 is available for the world to enjoy. Of course, there are many new updates and interesting tweaks in this year’s game. However, the most notable is the gameplay overhaul. FIFA 18 features a more realistic gaming experience. Instead of the fast-paced action in FIFA 17 or the robotic feel of FIFA 16, FIFA 18 gives the game a smooth feel. The game was slowed down and the handling isn’t as hectic as before. In addition, certain players, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, have individual play styles. There are an abundance of other notable features, as well.

Although the game is now more realistic, that does not translate to easy. FIFA 18 is actually harder than previous games. For example, defending is a lot harder than before. Now, you cannot simply spam the ‘B’ button and steal the ball from attacking players. Passing, although more precise, is more difficult too. Players can no longer pass when their characters are off balance, eliminating a lot of swift counter-attacking abilities and forcing players to pay more attention to detail.

But, don’t worry, FIFA is still largely the game that millions around the globe have fallen in love with.
