Arsenal have had yet another very typically Arsenally season so far. They’ve been inconsistent in all facets of their performances. On certain days they look potent on offense and competent defensively. Other days, like against Liverpool in a 4-0 loss, they look wildly different. If the good version of the Gunners show up, led by Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette, then Brighton are in for a long game.
Brighton have been a decent team in the Premier League thus far. They’ll likely lose out on possession to Arsene Wenger’s side significantly and be forced to hope they can hold out against Arsenal’s attack. The Gunners are liable to open up on defense quite easily at some point, having given up eight goals so far this season. Brighton need to be prepared to capitalize on the chances the Gunners will surely present them.
