It has been a rough start to the Matt Rhule era in Waco. His 2017 Baylor program is 0-4 (0-1) on the season and might be the worst team in the Big 12. Though they hung tough with the juggernaut Oklahoma Sooners in Week 4, this is a Baylor team that lost to Liberty, UT-San Antonio and Duke in the non-conference. Unless they knock off an Iowa State or a Kansas, this Baylor team might go winless this season.
Kansas State is the better of the two teams for sure. The Wildcats are 2-1 before beginning Big 12 play. Though they beat the Central Arkansas Bears and the Charlotte 49ers in the first two weeks, Kansas State lost in Nashville to the Vanderbilt Commodores of the SEC. A win at home over Baylor could have Kansas State back as a dark horse contender to come out of the Big 12.
