SEC games are supposed to be close, but we saw on Saturday that there is a big difference between the elite, and the bottom-dwellers in the conference. One such game was the Alabama-Ole Miss game, which saw the Crimson Tide get out to a big lead, and put the Rebels away early. Quarterback Jalen Hurts was unstoppable in this one, racking up touchdown after touchdown against an overmatched Rebels defense.
Just a week after blowing out Vanderbilt by the score of 59-0, the Crimson Tide destroyed Ole Miss, as they once again went over 50 points. Hurts threw for nearly 200 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for over 100 yards and a score. The sophomore seems to get better every week, and his progression from last season makes this Alabama team even more dangerous than they were a year ago.
The defense is loaded, and despite losing a bunch of stars to the NFL Draft, may be even better than the version that was on the field last season. Head coach Nick Saban is on a mission in 2017, and it appears they are going to steamroll every team that gets in their way. Last season was a missed opportunity for sure, and this team is not going to stop until they are once again on the podium after a national title win.

The toughest game remaining for the Crimson Tide will be their last regular season game, when they go on the road and take on Auburn in the Iron Bowl. The Tigers looked very good in their win against Mississippi State on Saturday, and their offense could cause Alabama fits. Still, this team is going to go undefeated, and it will be up to one of the other three College Football Playoff teams to knock them off.
