After the Week 2 loss to Oklahoma, the Buckeyes steamrolled Army and UNLV. There didn’t seem to be any carryover effects from the loss, as the offense looked sharp in both games. Granted, they were cupcake matchups, but also needed for Urban Meyer’s squad to trend in the right direction.

The UNLV game saw two OSU quarterbacks shine. JT Barrett had five touchdown passes, while Dwayne Haskins threw 23 times for 228 yards and two touchdowns. It was valuable experience for the freshman who potentially will take over after 2017.
Running back JK Dobbins continued his solid play. He ran for 95 of the 190 yards Ohio State had last weekend. Will he be in for another effective game against Rutgers?
