The Pittsburgh Panthers will host the Rice Owls for an early afternoon kickoff in Week 5. Here is how to watch this college football game online.
In one of the early kickoffs on Saturday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Panthers (1-3) will host the Rice Owls (1-3) in a gotta-have-it game. Kickoff from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh will be at 12:00 p.m. ET on September 30. The ACC Network will have the telecast. The available live streams can be found on WatchESPN and on FuboTV.
Rice enters play at 1-3 (1-1) on the year. Though the Owls have a win in Conference USA play over the UTEP Miners, they have dropped three of their first four games. Those losses are to the ranked Stanford Cardinal, across town to the rival Houston Cougars and a conference game to the Florida International Panthers. Maybe getting to a bowl will be out the for Rice if they can’t steal one up in the Steel City?
Pittsburgh is 1-3 (0-1) on the year. After being the Youngstown State Penguins in Week 1, the Panthers have dropped three straight games to good teams to lose a grip on their season. That being said, their losses at the ranked Penn State Nittany Lions, home for the Oklahoma State Cowboys and on the road version ACC Coastal rival Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket is not shameful.
It’s a tough early slate for Pittsburgh, but do the Panthers have the mental toughness to bounce back from a brutal start to their 2017 NCAA campaign? Maybe a win over Rice at home is just what the doctor ordered for this reeling ACC team?
