The SMU Mustangs will host the UConn Huskies for a Saturday afternoon kickoff in Week 5. Here is how to watch this AAC football game online.
Conference play is very much under way in the American Athletic Conference. In what should be a good game in The American, the SMU Mustangs (3-1) will host the UConn Huskies for a late afternoon start time.
Kickoff from Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas will be at 4:00 p.m. ET. ESPN News will have the telecast of the AAC football game. The available live streams can be found on WatchESPN and on FuboTV.
UConn enters play at 1-2 (0-1) on the year. The Huskies beat the Holy Cross Crusaders in Week 1. However, things haven’t gone as smoothly since Hurricane Irma delayed their conference game with the South Florida Bulls until November. UConn has dropped its two most recent games, at the Virginia Cavaliers and its first AAC game versus the East Carolina Pirates.
SMU enters play at 3-1 on the year, excited to get AAC play under way. The Mustangs have three wins on the season over the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks, the North Texas Mean Green and the Arkansas State Red Wolves. SMU’s lone loss isn’t bad, as it was an away game versus a former Southwest rival in the ranked TCU Horned Frogs of the Big 12.

With SMU looking very strong in the non-conference, the Mustangs should be able to take advantage of the visiting Huskies in this one. SMU head coach Chad Morris is doing a fine job with this program, but will be going up against another good coach in his own right in Randy Edsall with UConn.
