The South Florida Bulls face the East Carolina Pirates at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 30. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Though they’ve yet to crack the top 15 in the college football rankings, the South Florida Bulls head into Week 5 of the season still undefeated. This a team that’s been far from perfect, but has continued to win when they should. Now they’ll hope to go on the road and continue that trend. They’ll head to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium to take on the East Carolina Pirates.
Even after the departure of Willie Taggert, Charlie Strong’s South Florida team is still quite solid. Led by quarterback Quinton Flowers, the Bulls offer a versatile offense. Flowers can throw the pigskin well, but is a dual-threat option that can take over a game with his legs.
East Carolina, however, has struggled for much of this season. They sit with just a 1-3 record coming into this matchup. They’d love to pull off an upset, to be sure. However, it’ll take a supreme effort from quarterback Thomas Sirk if that’s to happen.

South Florida should well be able to handle East Carolina in this matchup. However, in a week where college football got off to a wild start, absolutely nothing is certain.
