After earning one of its biggest wins in years last weekend, the NC State Wolfpack will look to keep the momentum going when it hosts the Syracuse Orange on Saturday afternoon.
The Wolfpack entered the season ranked just outside the top 25 with high expectations only to lose by a touchdown to South Carolina in its opener. NC State recovered to top Marshal and Furman before scoring a huge 27-21 road win over then-No. 12 Florida State on Saturday to move to 3-1.
Defensive end Bradley Chubb only helped his sky-high draft stock by dominating the Seminoles, and now has 21 tackles with 3.5 sacks on the season. Quarterback Ryan Finley has been ultra-efficient with a 74.2 percent completion percentage and eight touchdowns to no interceptions, with do-it-all weapon Jaylen Samuels leading the way.

Syracuse is off to a 2-2 start while showing signs of improvement under second-year head coach Dino Babers. The Orange’s only FBS win is over Central Michigan, but Babers’ team played LSU tough last weekend in a 35-26 loss in Death Valley.
Dual-threat quarterback Eric Dungey has keyed the Orange offense with nearly 1,300 total yards and 11 touchdowns to three interceptions. Dungey will often look for senior Ervin Phillips, who has racked up 27 catches already despite missing a chunk of the Central Michigan game.
