The No. 6 Washington Huskies will look to continue their perfect start to the season when they visit the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday night at Reser Stadium.
Washington entered the 2017 season as one of the national favorites to make a repeat run to the College Football Playoff, and have looked good in the early going. The Huskies largely breezed through an easy nonconference slate and impressively dismantled Colorado 37-10 last Saturday in Boulder.
Junior running back Myles Gaskin leads a deep backfield and went off for a career-high 202 yards against the Buffaloes. Washington’s defense is also wrecking people once again to the tune of 11.8 points allowed per game, leaving a growing injury list as Chris Petersen’s top concern.

Gary Andersen has quite a rebuilding job on his hands, as the Beavers are off to a 1-3 start and haven’t shown any improvement from last year. Oregon State did manage a win over Portland State back on Sept. 2 but have been blown out in their three contests against FBS competition.
Running back Ryan Nall can still cause some damage, as the talented junior is averaging 6.1 yards per carry with four touchdowns. Quarterback Jake Luton suffered a scary thoracic spine fracture in Oregon State’s last game against Washington State, leaving the starting job in the hands of Utah State transfer Darell Garretson.

Oddsmakers expect the Huskies to roll as a 27-point favorite, with the over/under set at 63 points. Oregon State has lost by more than four touchdowns to all three Division I teams this year and may have a tough time covering, although Petersen isn’t one to run up the score.
