With the release of the Week 6 AP Top 25, which college football teams won and lost in the newest poll?

Yet another week of college football is in the books, but there was something about the Week 5 slate of games that lest a lot to be desired by fans. There were some solid games, but for the most part, the schedule was lacking primetime matchups.

There were a couple, however. Clemson traveled to Blacksburg, Va., to take on Virginia Tech in College GameDay’s feature game. Unfortunately, the contest wasn’t as close as everyone had hoped as the Tigers asserted their dominance once again and proved just why they deserve to be in the conversation for No. 1.

Of course, Alabama retained its No. 1 spot in the AP poll after a 66-3 drubbing of Ole Miss. The Rebels had given Alabama and Nick Saban fits over the years and the head coach knew it. Ole Miss got to see what an angry Crimson Tide team looks like — and it’s scary.

The other top game of the week was between USC and Washington State on Friday evening. The Trojans were the favorite, ranked No. 5 heading into the game, and the No. 16 Cougars came away with the big upset win. Did this effectively end the Trojans’ chances to win the Pac-12 and make the College Football Playoff? Maybe, but it’s far too early to tell. They were, however, losers in this week’s AP poll.

Take a look at the biggest winners and losers from this week’s release of the AP Poll.
