3. Justin Fuente on Clemson

How good is Clemson? Really, really good. Just ask Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente who led his Hokies into battle against the Tigers on Saturday night in Blacksburg. College GameDay was on hand for the huge ACC battle, but it didn’t end quite like the Hokies would have hoped.

In fact, Clemson marched into Blacksburg and came away with a 31-17 victory, maintaining that first place spot in the ACC Atlantic. The Tigers once again looked like the best team in the conference, which they are to this point and a top-tier national title contender.

Is there a weakness in Clemson’s game this season? Fuente has the answer.

That should put the rest of college football on notice if it hasn’t already. Everyone is talking about Alabama and how they’ve demolished Vanderbilt and Ole Miss in back-to-back weeks, but why isn’t Clemson getting more attention. After this win, it should.

Fuente expected his team to come out and pull off the upset, but it’s hard to do when a team like Clemson doesn’t show any weaknesses.
