2. Ed Orgeron after upset loss to Troy

Troy wasn’t the only one to have a say following the upset win over LSU, but Tigers’ head coach Ed Orgeron was upset with the way things ended on Saturday against the Trojans.

As you could probably guess, Orgeron was upset about his team’s loss to Troy for the Tigers’ Homecoming game in Baton Rouge. Instead of calling out his guys for a lack of effort or blaming other coaches, Orgeron pointed the finger right back at himself and took the blame.

For a coach to admit that after a huge upset against a Sun Belt team that was a 20-5-point underdog, it must mean he’s a stand-up guy. He went one step further to state that he needs to figure out a way to keep the team together after the brutal upset.

It’ll be interesting to see if LSU can bounce back from the upset loss against Troy which happened just two weeks after a 37-7 defeat at the hands of Mississippi State. Can Orgeron follow through on his word?
