Saints at Dolphins: Highlights, score and recap
On Sunday afternoon in London, the Miami Dolphins fell to Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. What came out of this interconference affair?
For the second straight week, Sunday’s NFL action began at 9:30 a.m. ET as the Miami Dolphins welcomed the New Orleans Saints to London.
The game got off to an inauspicious start. Miami drove 91 yards and the march resulted in a Jay Cutler end zone interception. The Saints embarked on a 14-play, 67-yard drive only to see kicker Wil Lutz push a 41-yard field goal wide right. But he would make amends on the final play than the first half to give New Orleans a 3-0 advantage at intermission.
It was all Saints in the second half on the way to a 20-0 victory.
Three Stars
1. Alvin Kamara
The Saints used a third-round pick in April on the explosive performer from the University of Tennessee. He responded with a big game in London, running for 25 yards on five carries and totaling 10 grabs for 71 yards and a score (via a shovel pass from Drew Brees) as New Orleans rolled to a convincing win.
2. Ken Crawley
The former undrafted free agent made his presence felt in the first quarter when he picked off a Jay Cutler pass in the end zone intended for Dolphins’ tight end Julius Thomas. Crawley finished with four tackles, the aforementioned interception and two passes defensed in the shutout win.
3. Drew Brees
He finished the afternoon with a quiet 268 yards through the air and connected with wideout Michael Thomas and running back Alvin Kamara for scores. More importantly, the Saints evened their record at 2-2 and the team has yet to turn over the football in four games this season.

Odds
Off that impressive 34-13 win over the Panthers at Carolina, the Saints came to England as 2.5-point favorites despite the fact that the Miami Dolphins were the designated home team for this contest. The over/under for this game stood at a brisk 49.
