WWE has decided to capitalize on Cesaro’s recent teeth malfunction and it’s one of the best apparel decisions they have ever made
Recently at the WWE No Mercy event during the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship match, Cesaro suffered a bit of an injury setback. While taking a slingshot into the post, a move he’s probably taken 1,000 times in his career, he overshot himself with his face landing directly onto the post. He immediately grasped his mouth after hitting the post, and when the camera zoomed in on the Swiss Superman … well, significant portions of his front teeth were missing. Yes, that’s how hard he hit the post.
So what do you do if you’re WWE, a company always pining for every cent you can get? You capitalize off of the injury to one of your best tag team stars — and arguably one of the best overall performers on the roster — by trying to cash in on that merch money.
On Twitter Monday, it was none other than Cesaro himself who revealed to the masses that the new shirt being sold on WWEShop.com directly promotes the superstar known to everyone as … the “Thwith Thyborg.”

In case you couldn’t figure it out, yes, this is poking fun at how Cesaro may now pronounce one of his own nicknames following his front teeth being minimized, “Swiss Cyborg.” The shirt isn’t really wrong, because the lisp he was walking around with was probably pretty noticeable.
Simply put, this is one of the funniest pieces of merchandise the company has ever put out, and you can’t really blame them for doing so. Cesaro is one of the most popular members of the WWE roster, so you know these are going to be a pretty good seller, especially if the man himself is out here promoting it to everyone.
Cesaro may have some damaged teeth right now, but the merchandise check from this shirt may make him feel a bit better.
