Lucifer returns at a new time for the season 3 premiere, “They’re Back, Aren’t They?” Here’s what you need to know to watch Lucifer on TV and online.

After a long summer of waiting, it’s time to find out what happened to Lucifer. The handsome devil was knocked out at the end of the season 2 finale and left in the desert.

His skin was burned, suggesting that he had been there for a while, but there was something even more shocking: Lucifer’s wings are back.

Here’s the episode synopsis for “They’re Back, Aren’t They?”:

"“After waking up in the desert with his wings, Lucifer and Chloe try to figure out what happened to him; newcomer Lieutenant Marcus Pierce makes a poor impression due to his stern demeanor; Lucifer finds himself in another compromising situation.”"

Lucifer had been on the verge of telling Chloe the truth about him when he was knocked out. Will he tell her, or will there be bigger problems to deal with upon his return? Tom Welling joins the cast as Lieutenant Marcus Pierce, and Lucifer faces losing Chloe’s attention as the new lieutenant settles in.

Dr. Linda was in the hospital at the end of the season after Charlotte’s brutal attack, but Amenadiel arrived in time to save her. Will he be the same after using so much power to save her? And what of Charlotte, who woke up on the beach with no memory after Lucifer’s mother went into another dimension.

There’s a lot to look forward to in season 3 of Lucifer!
