The 2017 NFL season has not been kind to the Chicago Bears, and in Week 5, they will make the move to their top pick from the draft.

The Chicago Bears have gone 1-3 to start the 2017 NFL season, and they feel it is time to make a change at quarterback. That means that No. 2 overall pick Mitchell Trubisky will be under center when the team takes on Minnesota on Monday Night Football. The team traded up for Trubisky back in April, and after Mike Glennon proved to be a turnover machine through the team’s first four games, head coach John Fox decided on Monday to make the move.

One player who will not be playing in that Monday Night Football matchup is Dalvin Cook, who blew out his knee this past Sunday. Cook was injured in a non-contact play against the Detroit Lions, adding more injuries to the Vikings season thus far. The rookie had been excellent for the team through the first four games of the season, and they will now have to turn to a combination of Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon.

The Oakland Raiders were supposed to be one of the better teams in the AFC this season, but they have looked far from it the last two weeks. After being crushed by the Washington Redskins on Sunday Night Football, the Raiders went into Denver and laid an egg on Sunday. In that game, star quarterback Derek Carr had to leave with a back injury, and was scheduled for an MRI on Monday.

Fellow young AFC quarterback Marcus Mariota was also injured on Sunday, and now the team will have to take a day-to-day approach with him. Mariota injured his hamstring in the team’s blowout loss to the Tennessee Titans, and it has been ruled a sprain. If he cannot go, expect the team to once again go with Matt Cassel under center when they take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 5.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their 26th ranked rushing offense should get a bit of help in Week 5, as Doug Martin will return from suspension. Martin was suspended for four games, and after serving the remaining three this season, will be activated for the team’s Thursday Night Football matchup against the New England Patriots. The veteran running back struggled in 2016, but the team is hoping he resembles the rusher who went over 1,000 yards back in 2015.
