There are so many autographs and pieces of memorabilia in 2017 Panini Certified Cuts Football, Panini had to put them into booklets.

If collecting rare autographs or pieces of memorabilia from football legends and current stars is attractive to collectors, 2017 Panini Certified Cuts Football can satiate both of those hungers simultaneously with its loaded lineup.

Each hobby box includes 12 packs, with four cards in each pack. Each case contains 12 hobby boxes. Four autograph or memorabilia cards are guaranteed in each hobby box, meaning 48 are ensured in each case.

In addition to a base set that includes the NFL’s top 2017 rookies and stars, many of those same players along with recently retired players are featured in both autograph and memorabilia cards versions. There are also short-printed ink color variations of the Rookie Cuts insert.

Certified Cuts begins its highly-collectable offerings with cut autographs (the autographed part of the card is a cutout section of another piece of material that the person signed, like a piece of paper or cloth). These non-booklet cuts are numbered to 99 and come two per case on average. The four variations are Cinematic Cuts, Collegiate Cuts, Historical Cuts and Legendary Cuts.

As the names suggest, Collegiate Cuts and Legendary Cuts will feature autographed materials from some of the greatest coaches, commissioners, players and team owners in football history. The short list includes the likes of Tom Landry, Sammy Baugh and Red Grange. There are many, many more iconic legends of NFL history.

The non-booklet offerings aren’t limited to just football personalities, however. Cinematic Cuts feature film legends like Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne while Historical Cuts includes former United States general and president Dwight D. Eisenhower among others.

That same diversity of individuals carries over to the booklet (the cards open up to reveal the contents like a book) cards. In addition to NFL legends like Chuck Noll and Reggie White, pop culture icons like Stan Lee and historical figures like one thus far unspecified United States President and First Lady, are included in the booklet offerings.

Many sets have offered autographs and/or relic cards from these individuals, but this set is still unique because of its presentation. The offerings of NFL personalities and other pop culture icons in booklets that contain both autograph and memorabilia cards definitely sets 2017 Panini Certified Cuts Football apart.
