The Blacklist season 5, episode 2: Watch online
By Ben Rosener
The Blacklist returns to television screens across the country on Wednesday, Oct. 4 for the second episode of the show’s fifth season, and we’ve got all the details you need to watch it live.
The Blacklist is back. The show recently returned to NBC following the usual summer hiatus.
As with the season premieres of many shows, last Wednesday’s episode of The Blacklist not only set the tone for the rest of the season, but it also laid the groundwork for future storylines.
Tone wise, the fifth season’s premiere made significant headway in establishing Elizabeth Keen and Raymond Reddington’s new dynamic as father and daughter.
The two have shared plenty of screen time in the past, but it wasn’t revealed until late last season that the show’s most important characters were daughter and father.
What’s more, the show also planted the seeds for an eventual conflict between Red and Tom Keen with a series of images showing James Spader’s characters shooting Liz’s husband.
There’s also the fact that Tom is in possession of the suitcase that Reddington and Dembe are so keen to retrieve.
Moving forward, it will certainly be interesting to see how the season progresses.
