Tite decided to call up the majority of Brazilian regulars ahead of their last two World Cup qualifiers. Brazil have scored 38 goals in qualifying, allowing only 11. Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar will lead the Verde-Amarela attack alongside Roberto Firmino and Gabriel Jesus. In qualifying, Neymar and Jesus have combined to score 10 of Brazil’s 38 goals. Neymar’s 52 international goals are tied with Zico for fourth-most in Brazil history.
Bolivia will have to wait another four years to qualify for the World Cup. The South American country have qualified for the World Cup three times, in 1930, 1950 and 1994. Center-back Ronaldo Raldes is Bolivia’s most capped player in national team history but has the difficult task of organizing Los Altiplanicos defense against an explosive Brazilian attack. Marcelo Moreno is one of the few players who does not play domestically for Bolivia. Moreno plays for Chinese club Wuhan Zall and with another goal will become the second highest scorer for the national team.
