Astros vs. Red Sox, ALDS Game 2 live stream: How to watch online
Here’s how you can watch Friday afternoon’s Red Sox vs. Astros ALDS Game 2 from Houston online.
By now, the Astros and Red Sox are quite familiar with each other. The two teams will take the field on Friday for their sixth straight game against one another. The Astros took Game 1 of the series 8-2 in a pitching duel between ace’s Justin Verlander and Chris Sale.
Game 2 will feature another Astros ace, Dallas Keuchel and Drew Pomeranz for Boston. Keuchel, who has been a favorite in Houston for years, has posted a 14-5 record and 2.90 ERA in 2017. Meanwhile, Pomeranz was 17-6 on the year with a 3.32 ERA. Although it may not be a Sale-Verlander affair, this star-studded match-up is one to keep an eye on.

For the Astros, the game-plan is business as usual; keep smacking the cover off the baseball. Houston strung together four home runs in Game 1 en route to an 8-2 win over Boston. The Astros had a field day hitting the ball off Red Sox pitchers and look to do the same on Friday against Pomeranz.
Meanwhile, the Red Sox need a win and need it badly. Much of the talk heading into the series was focused on the Astros, especially considering Sports Illustrated dubbed the Astros “2017 World Series Champions” in 2014. Boston was able to get on the board early against Verlander in Game 1. However, the AL East champions couldn’t get much going later on as they went on to lose the game.
