ESPN’s College GameDay will be live from Fort Worth for West Virginia and TCU on Saturday. Who will be the celebrity guest picker on the show?
The Big 12 has been wildly entertaining to begin the season. With plenty of contenders and talented programs making strides this season, there have been some big conference battles to begin the season. ESPN’s College GameDay will be live for the next one when TCU hosts West Virginia this week.
Both programs are off to great starts and currently tied for tops in the conference. While West Virginia’s win came over Kansas, TCU went out of their way to impress with a victory against Oklahoma State.
This is a game that is really going to springboard the season for the program that wins and there is plenty at stake here. Both of these teams have had battles with the other before and it’s always an entertaining affair.

With a game of this magnitude, it will be interesting to see the celebrity picker that is chosen to join the guys on set. With the game being in Fort Worth, the choice seems rather obvious to say the least.
NFL Hall of Famer and 2017 inductee, LaDainian Tomlinson, would make a ton of sense here. With the spotlight on TCU here, it only makes sense to have one of the greatest to ever play for them on the set. Of course, it could always end up being someone else as well. It’s always fun to speculate about who could be the latest to make their prediction.
— Update 10/7: While LT would have made for a great guest picker, he isn’t the guest picker. The honor today goes to country music star Tim McGraw who was the celebrity guest picker at TCU. The timing worked out perfectly considering he’s on tour right now and the stop in Fort Worth made for a perfect excuse to get over to GameDay to make his picks for the week’s biggest games.
