Jaguars at Steelers: Preview, prediction, odds and pick

BALTIMORE, MD - OCTOBER 01: Running back Le'Veon Bell

The Steelers looked strong against the Ravens last week, and the team that blew out the Ravens in London a week before is next when they play the Jaguars.

The Pittsburgh Steelers may have their offense arguing on the sidelines in between possessions during games, but the results are still showing as they head into Week 5 with a 3-1 record atop the AFC North. However, they have an interesting matchup coming next against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Last week, the Steelers faced their true competition in the AFC North when they squared off against the Baltimore Ravens and showed their status as the kings of the division when they handled the Ravens easily.

Before the Steelers even had a chance to play the Ravens, the Jaguars had already blown them out in London in a 44-7 snooze-fest the week before. Now, the Ravens’ last two opponents will meet in Week 5, in what could turn into a real sleeper game as far as upsets are concerned if things fall in Jacksonville’s favor.

Odds: Steelers -10, according to Sportsbook Review

The Jaguars aren’t favored in the game by any means, but they have the talent to be an intriguing matchup for any team that they come up against. Just like the game against the Ravens, they proved that they can hang against some of the best defenses in the league, and this Steelers game could prove to be no different.

Next: 10 unlikely Super Bowl MVPs

As much as any fan would love to see the Jaguars pull off the upset and send the AFC North into a frenzy, it’s tough to imagine the Jaguars defense stuffing the Steelers offense as easily as they did with the Ravens. I see the Steelers pulling away early, and sticking with the odds to win big on Sunday afternoon.

Prediction: Steelers 24, Jaguars 10
