The Memphis Tigers will look to bounce back after their first loss of the season when they play the UConn Huskies on Friday night.
It’s a tale of two divisions in the American Athletic Conference on Friday night, when the Memphis Tigers take on the UConn Huskies. The Tigers are coming off of their first loss of the season and will look to bounce back on the road.
The Huskies on the other hand are trying to stop a three-game skid that could very well continue with the way things are trending. They’ll look to protect their home field against a good team coming to town.
Date: Friday, Oct. 6, 2017
Start Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
Location: East Hartford, CT
Venue: Rentschler Field
TV Info: ESPN
Live Stream: WatchESPN
The irony of this game is the standings for both teams. The Tigers come into the game with a 3-1 record, yet are only fourth in the West. The Huskies come in with an abysmal 1-3 record and yet that is good enough for fourth in the East.

Needless to say, the two divisions couldn’t be more different right now. Memphis got off to a nice start on the year but really let UCF handle business against them in their previous game. The offense could only muster 13 points.
UConn is coming off of a big loss on the road to SMU. Courtland Sutton had his way against the Huskies’ secondary and they’ll have to be much better this week if they want to pull off the win at home.
