The Air Force Falcons face the Navy Midshipmen on Saturday, Oct. 7 in college football, and here’s all the info you need to watch.

When it comes to the option in college football, there are few teams that still heavily utilize it. However, the Navy Midshipmen are among the most successful at it. And they may have one of their best overall teams in quite some time in 2017. On Saturday, Oct. 7 they’ll put that to test against another option team and a rival, the Air Force Falcons.

Navy quarterback Zach Abey has been prolific these season. Obviously he’s thrown only 29 passes on the year, but still has nearly 400 yards through the air and three scores. He’s been more devastating with his legs, though, rushing for 656 yards and seven scores.

As for Air Force, they’re up against it at 1-3 going to face a 4-0 Navy squad. With that said, quarterback Arion Worthman is a viable threat with his arms and legs, and Timothy McVey is a talented back. Thus, they could make some noise in this contest.

If you love the option and running the football, this is the game for you. Navy clearly has the advantage here, but you can never count Air Force out in matchups of this nature. They have talent, but just need to execute.
