ESPN’s College GameDay will head to Fort Worth, TX for TCU vs. West Virginia. Which team will Lee Corso select for his headgear pick?

Another weekend of college football is here, which means ESPN’s College GameDay will go on the road for its latest episode. This will be in Fort Worth, TX, where TCU vs. West Virginia will take place. As always, you can expect Lee Corso to make his anticipated headgear selection for this game. It will also be his 300th pick of his long career as a college football analyst.

TCU-WVU is a battle of strong Big 12 teams. Both are near the top of the conference and have an AP Poll ranking of No. 8 and 23, respectively.

The Horned Frogs remain perfect to start the 2017 season. They had a bye week on Sep. 30 but defeated Oklahoma State in their previous game, 44-31. This knocked off the No. 6 team in the nation and a top-two team in the Big 12.

TCU’s running game led the way, with 238 yards and four touchdowns. Darius Anderson had a game-high 160 yards and three scores.

West Virginia lost to Virginia Tech to begin the season. However, they rebounded with three consecutive wins and a placement near the top of the Big 12. They’ll look to stabilize this on Saturday afternoon.

This will be a highly-contested conference matchup, but who will win? That decision will be up to Corso, as he closes College GameDay with his choice.

The winner of TCU vs. West Virginia should claim the No. 2 spot in the Big 12 behind Oklahoma. If Gary Patterson’s team wins, however, there’s a chance they jump over the Sooners in the AP Poll, or at least in conference power rankings. It would be a strong win and propel this team to another level.
