Miami and Florida State will clash in a huge ACC rivalry game in Tallahassee on Saturday.

The Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles both came into this season looking to crash that playoff bubble. However, both programs have gone in opposite directions to start the season. They’ll meet on Saturday in Tallahassee.

For the Seminoles, the injury to Deondre Francois really set them behind. Being without their star quarterback hasn’t made life easy and they’re still adjusting on offense while the defense has to play near perfect.

James Blackman managed to throw quite the touchdown strike on the road against Wake Forest last week to avoid starting with three losses to begin the year. Now, they’ll face a hungry Miami team on their own field.

This game was set to be played earlier this season but the devastating hurricane forced it to be pushed back. That of course then meant both programs got more time off than they probably would have liked to have had and the Seminoles came back a little rusty.

While the offense is a work in progress, the defense has really began to pick things up. Derrick Nnadi has been a monster up front and can’t be blocked. Add in dynamic members in the secondary and this defense could really begin to carry the way. They’re going to have to while the offense still finds their own way.
