Minnesota is coming off a tough 14-7 divisional loss to the Detroit Lions this past Sunday, where the defense certainly did enough to win the game. The loss was compounded by the loss of star running back Dalvin Cook, who was an early favorite for Rookie of the Year in the NFC. They will have to go with Latavius Murray at running back against Chicago, and he was a main reason the Oakland Raiders had the sixth-best rushing attack in the league last season.

Minnesota should be able to do enough on defense to come away with the victory in this one. Trubisky is very poised for a kid his age, but those brilliant defensive minds on the Vikings coaching staff are going to be throwing the kitchen sink at him. He will make a few plays to show why he was a first round pick, but this is definitely a tough draw in your first NFL regular season start.
