How many times can Brian Kelly swindle us into thinking that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are good? Well, it appeared this season like people might finally be catching on. So naturally, Kelly might have one of the best teams he’s had yet in South Bend. They’ll look to keep that up as they travel to Kenan Stadium in College Football Week 6 to face the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Junior running back Josh Adams is one of the best players you’re not hearing enough about. With 658 rushing yards, the Notre Dame ball-carrier is a force. With Brandon Wimbush playing well at quarterback and a stout defense, this is a team with a lot of balance and talent.
As for North Carolina, they’ve been mauled by injuries this season, unfortunately. The lone bright spot has been redshirt freshman quarterback Chazz Surratt. After taking the job from Brandon Harris, he’s impressed, although he makes the occasional youthful mistake.
