Week 6 of the 2017 college football season is here. We’ve got an interesting game going on in The American on our hands between the SMU Mustangs (4-1) and the Houston Cougars (3-1) on Saturday night.
Kickoff from TDECU Stadium in Houston will be at 7:00 p.m. ET on October 7. CBS Sports Network will carry the game. The available live streams can be found on CBS Sports and on FuboTV.
SMU enters play at 4-1 (1-0) on the season. The Mustangs have wins over the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks, the North Texas Mean Green and the Arkansas State Red Wolves. Though they have a non-conference loss to the TCU Horned Frogs of the Big 12, the Mustangs have a conference win over the UConn Huskies.
Houston enters play at 3-1 (1-0) on the season. The Cougars have wins in the non-conference over the Arizona Cardinals and the Rice Owls. They have had a game against the UTSA Roadrunners canceled due to Hurricane Harvey. Houston dropped a non-conference game to the Texas Tech Red Raiders, but won their AAC opener versus the Temple Owls in Philadelphia.
