The Washington State Cougars face the Oregon Ducks on Saturday, Oct. 7 in college football, and here’s all the info you need to watch.
One of the biggest upsets of the college football season to this point belongs to the Washington State Cougars. Knocking off USC last week, they put themselves firmly in the national conversation. However, the key is to not let up and avoid a letdown. That’ll be a tough task as they head to Autzen Stadium to face the Oregon Ducks in Week 6.
Washington State is led by senior quarterback Luke Falk, who’s firmly in the Heisman Trophy race at this point. However, it’s been Mike Leach’s defense that he’s built that has taken the team to the next level. That unit will again be tested against the highly talented and super fast Ducks.
Royce Freeman has been a monster for Oregon and, despite getting banged up last week, will go on Saturday. However, quarterback Justin Herbert won’t be on the field. As such, they’ll need to rely on Freeman and the rushing attack to be the heart of the offense.
