College football’s Week 6 saw a massive upset and some disappointing truths come to light that made for an entertaining week of memes.

Week 6 of the college football season certainly left plenty to talk about. It also had its fair share of memes as well. Thanks to the Oklahoma Sooners really laying an egg at home against Iowa State, it was going to be a guaranteed winner of a week for jokes.

With Baker Mayfield planting a flag in the field of Ohio State earlier on the year, the minute Oklahoma went down it was guaranteed that a moment was going to arise. The Cyclones did that with a flag of their own.

If Oklahoma losing didn’t provide enough memes this week, the rest of college football did their part. So enjoy a reporter playing with actual cupcakes, Clemson’s bowl prospects and a Miami fan that might as well wear the “Miami” chain.

The whole using cupcakes thing to describe Washington’s non-conference schedule might have been going a little too far but it was pretty funny. Clemson probably isn’t playing in the lawn mower bowl either, but it’s the thought that counts.

And at the end of the day all that matters is that the particular shirtless Miami fan had a good time watching his team pull out the win on the road against Florida State. It’s a rivalry game that never fails to deliver. Next week, Week 7 will be here and that means a chance to sit back and laugh at the ludicrous in college football.
