NFL Game Pass stopped working for thousands of football fans across the country, sending us all back to the dark ages of football consumption.
If you tried logging into NFL Game Pass on Sunday to watch football, then you already know why you’re here. The one job Game Pass has is to work on one day of the week so that we can all watch football. When it glitches out, that’s bad news.
Game Pass glitched out hard on Sunday and left fans without a way to consume out of market games.
The world has changed in so many ways since 1994. That’s when DirecTV first rolled out Sunday Ticket, which revolutionized the way we watched football on Sunday and allowed out of market fans to enjoy watching their teams. When GamePass goes out, it’s like traveling back to the dark ages of football, where we only had regional coverage to keep us entertained.
One look at Twitter told us no one wants to go back to that world:
Send help, Game Pass is the lifeline we don’t know how much we need until it isn’t there. Never ever come between a football fan and the consumption of that football.
It’s sort of pointless to list off a bunch of ways to troubleshoot Game Pass when it doesn’t work. This is a server issue being experienced by just about everyone. Reset your router all you want, this is now in the hands of God.
