WWE Hell in a Cell 2017: Full match card

Here is the full match card for WWE Hell in a Cell on Sunday, Oct. 8 from Little Cesaers Arena, in Detroit, Michigan.

In their first pay-per-view since SummerSlam, SmackDown presents Hell in a Cell. The card features eight matches, including two matches inside Hell in a Cell.

Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon will face off in one of the two cell matches, with an added falls count anywhere stipulation. The Owens-McMahon feud started at SummerSlam when McMahon served as the special guest referee in Owens’ match against AJ Styles. After the match, Owens accused McMahon of screwing him out of winning the United States Championship. In the following SmackDown, Owens made comments about McMahon’s children, leading McMahon to snap and attack Owens. After Owens threatened to sue the WWE, Vince McMahon made a surprise appearance, announcing that Owens and Shane McMahon would fight inside Hell in a Cell. Following the announcement, Owens attacked Vince McMahon.

In the other Hell in a Cell match, The New Day defend their tag team titles against The Usos. At SummerSlam, The Usos defeated The New Day to win the titles. However, the titles would go back to The New Day two weeks later, when they won a street fight. After a series of excellent matches, Sunday’s cell match could be the best match on the card.

In addition to the tag titles, the WWE Champion, United States, and Women’s Championship will be defended on the Hell in a Cell card. Jinder Mahal will defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura. At SummerSlam, Mahal got help from the Singh Brothers to defeat Nakamura. AJ Styles will defend his United States title against Baron Corbin and Natalya will defend the Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair.

  • WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs. The Usos (Hell in a Cell)
  • WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship: Natalya (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
  • Randy Orton vs. Rusev
  • Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler
  • Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin vs. The Hype Bros (Pre-show)

The Hell in a Cell card is rounded out by Randy Orton and Rusev, and Bobby Roode faces Dolph Ziggler. Orton defeated Rusev in 10 seconds at SummerSlam but Rusev promises the rematch will go in his favor. Roode makes his WWE pay-per-view debut against a disgruntled Ziggler who believes Roode is nothing more than a good entrance.
