WWE Hell in a Cell 2017 live stream: How to watch online
The WWE Hell in a Cell 2017 pay-per-view will take place on Sunday, Oct. 8. A look at how to watch it online.
The superstars of SmackDown Live will return to the pay-per-view stage on Sunday, Oct. 8, with the 2017 WWE Hell in a Cell event. This is the first year the Blue Brand has hosted the show, as it was exclusive to Raw in October 2016.
Two Hell in a Cell matches will headline Sunday’s show, and neither are for the WWE Championship. Instead, the SmackDown Tag Team Championship will be featured in one match, while a non-title bout takes over the other.
In the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match, New Day will put the titles on the line against The Usos. It’s the potential end of their long-standing rivalry, something that has lasted since the spring.
Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon is the other Hell in a Cell match. This isn’t for a title, but to settle a dispute that began in the summer, when Owens had referee issues in matches with AJ Styles. It cost him the WWE United States Championship, while also becoming infuriated with McMahon’s decisions.
Outside of these matches, Natalya will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair. These women have battled since the early days of NXT and will look to put on their latest instant classic at Hell in a Cell. Styles will also defend the U.S. Championship against Baron Corbin, which continues their developing rivalry.
